Rose M. Lucas
Rose M. Lucas is the
owner of College and School Planning Services. This is her 23rd year
serving as an
independent counselor for college, preparatory, and graduate school
placement. Rose Lucas received a Bachelor of Arts degree
from Transylvania University and has done graduate work at the University
of Kentucky in Education Administration. She has taught in public and
private schools in Kentucky and Ohio and has served as Assistant Director
of Admissions at Transylvania University.
Rose Lucas has been chair of the Lexington-Fayette
County Planning Commission, served as a member of the Board of
Directors of the International Downtown Association, as a member of the
Board of Advisers of the Downtown YMCA, is a member of the Board of Directors
of the Friends of the Farmers Market, a member of the Board of Directors
of The Newman Foundation at the University of Kentucky, a member of the
Catholic Diocese of Lexington School Board, and a member of the League of
Women Voters. Rose Lucas is a former Mayor and Council member of the City
of Oxford, Ohio, has served as a consultant on various political campaigns
in Ohio and Kentucky, and is involved in a number of other civic
activities.

Alyssa
McIntosh
Alyssa McIntosh, Business Manager, holds a Bachelor
of Arts degree in Business Administration from Transylvania
University. Before joining CSPS she was the
Business Director of Kindermusik by Pam in Lexington, KY. Alyssa is responsible for overseeing
all financial aspects of the business as well as supervising all day to day
operations.
Alyssa also helps in the review of essays
and applications and coordinates the CSPS tutoring program. Alyssa enjoys traveling throughout the U.S. and has also
visited many cities in India.

Beth Murner
Beth Murner,
consultant, is a graduate of Boston College with a Bachelor of Arts
in Communication. She has been an admission officer at Pine Manor
College and Centre College. In addition, Beth has been actively
involved as chairperson of the Alumni Admission Committee for Boston
College in Kentucky. Beth works directly with students at
College and School Planning Services in the areas of campus visits and
interview preparation. She also writes our newsletter.
Beth and her husband, Dan Murner, have four
children and live in Lexington. Beth does volunteer work at Cassidy
Elementary School and Christ the King Church. She is also involved with
the Kentucky Lung Association's Asthma education and outreach
programs. |
